Patience is a virtue, yes? Rearranging our wine coolers this morning. Here are a few favorite bottles we’ve put away for aging, all 2004-2009 vintages. Need to go back and look at Robert Parker reviews to check the recommended years for enjoying these, but in most cases they should benefit from more time in the bottle.

In 2008 on a visit to Buenos Aires, I fell in love with the wines of Argentina and started a blog called MalbecsOnly.

When I returned home to the States, I decided my friends can always pick out a Napa cab, or the French wine, but that when I went shopping I would only buy Argentinean wines.

I figured, focusing on one thing would force me to learn about them. I’m no expert, but I’m an enthusiast, and here I share what I learn.

Argentina has changed, and there is a stunning diversity of wines coming out of the country now, in regions well beyond Mendoza and grapes well beyond Malbec.

So now, our name reflects what this blog really is: a celebration of ALL kinds of Argentine wine. We welcome your comments, lively discussion, and suggestions for story ideas.
